The first point of contact is the most important, and yet it is a great deal more than taking money and giving tickets. Use this element to consider how a great reception can affect the experience that the customer receives and ensuring that they will return!

Child Protection

Dealing with so many children and young people as part of the daily operation of physical activity facilities, means that front-line staff have to be very aware of the ‘do’s and don’ts’ of dealing with children. This element deals with the very practical issues that can confront our staff during the course of their normal duties.

The basics of testing swimming pool water, and understanding what the test results mean, is an integral part of the lifeguards role in many venues. This one day course provides a very practical opportunity to learn this important task.

Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene

For those facilities that have catering facilities, this 1 day course and qualification is an essential skill for all staff that are required to deal with foodstuffs.
