WATER TESTING WORKSHOP

Water TestThis PALM Academy qualification is intended for all those people who are required to carry out pool water testing, on behalf of their employer. It complies fully with the PWTAG Code of Practice and is in accord with the Syllabus for the Swimming Pool Technical Operator standard.

The course covers aspects of pool water circulation and pollution control, together with a water testing workshop. There is a mix of theory and practical work; including a water testing workshop, where every water test has to be carried out and the results explained by the delegate.

We also use ‘class-room’ exercises to test the continuing level of understanding, as the course progresses.

At the end of the course delegates will be required to pass a short, multiple-choice written question test, as well as to be able to demonstrate that they are able to carry out water tests in the correct manner.

Together, the practical demonstration of skills and the written test will ensure that the delegate shows a good understanding of how to carry out pool water tests, and to understand the meaning of results, and the necessary actions to take.
